Gresik Regency is popular with industrial and commercial centre, located in 20 km northwest of Surabaya, East Java, be industrial town with Semen Gresik factory which is famous in Indonesia, there is also big wood crafter home industry and build since 1976 and Rattan industry which produces rattan furniture and its other marketing exports. In this town there is Sunan Maulana Malik Ibrahim cemetery who is one of 9 holy men in Islam religion in Indonesia, first Islam spreader in East Java who pass away in 882 H or 1419 A.D and buried in Kampung Gapura Gresik. And in about 2 km in South side of the town, precisely in Bukit Giri we can find Sunan Giri cemetery who is also one of 9 Islam spreader sponsors in Java. The commemoration ceremony of Sunan Giri’s died (Haul Sunan Giri) scheduled in calendar of East Java Tourism. Besides, there is also Leran grave that is mother of Sunan Giri grave, which located in Leran village, Manyar about 8 km from Gersik town. Gresik regency covers the land area of Gresik itself and the isle of Bawean extending at 1,173.69 sq. km or 1,173 Halt comprises total land area of Gresik at 984.94 sq. km and total land area of Bawean isle at 188.75 sq. km.

Gresik Hot Spring.
Gresik hot spring is located in Sawahmulyo village (Bawean Island), Sangkapura district. It is about 80 miles away from the capital of the regency, can be reached by ships/ jet foil.

Lake Kastoba.
Lake Kastoba is located in Peromaan village, Tambak district. As one of nature tourism object pledge in Bawean Island, generally physical condition is hardly promise for the tourists, with clear water and fresh fascination, and you can drink it directly although it isn’t cooked before. It also supported with the greenness natural forest plant around the lake, seems add its beautiful lake along the view eyes.
Bawean Island.
Bawean Island with its nature tourism object, administratively, Bawean island is included to Gresik district, East Java. It is located on the North of Gresik district and it is about 80 mills from the town of Gresik, and it takes 3 hours boat rice by express speed boat and 8 hours normal boat. The width of Bawean is 194, 11 km square consisting with two sub districs; Tambak and Sangkapura. It is rounded by some small islands at the East; Gili, Noko/Selayar, Telur and Batu Kerbau, Karang Bilah, Tanjug Cina and Nusa islands at the West. It is only Gili island that is populated with 700 people from the others. Another beach in Bawean Island such as Labuhan beach and Mayangkara beach is located in Kepuh Teluk village.
Noko Island.
Noko Island or Selayar that located in east side of Bawean Island, Daun village. The other beach is Labuhan beach that also has calm wave. It is located in Tanjung Ori village, Tambak district. Mayangkara beach is located in Kepuh Teluk village, Tambak district. This beach is the location of Siti Zaenab, Sunan Giri’s wife when she had anchor, then known as Ibu Rambut Panjang - Mother Long Hair. Beside its sand sea, the visitors also can enjoy its sea park that has white sand.
